Brian C. Gerardi

Brian is the consummate team player and takes the same approach to his leadership style. Throughout his professional military career, he has always sought to engage those he works with and empower others to achieve their best. He has spent nearly a decade serving as a Field Artillery Officer in the US Army in a variety of roles, to include time spent as a paratrooper in the world’s most renown fighting unit: the illustrious 82nd Airborne Division. More recently, he served twice as a company commander at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and currently serves as an instructor of Officership at the United States Military Academy at West Point. He has provided coaching and counsel to students, sports teams, military officers, and corporate professionals.

Brian has been married to the former Tiffany Mincey (USMA Class of 2014) of Metter, Georgia for eight years. They currently reside in Salisbury Mills, NY with their sons, Jackson and James, their miniature schnauzers, Franklin and Eleanor, and their five chickens.

Brian's Career Experience

Taught the senior capstone course, Officership, to members of the West Point class of 2022 and 2023, focusing on moral leadership, trust, critical thinking, and organizational change. 

Served as the lead planner for 2x major ethics conferences with hundreds of external participants.
Served twice as a graduate assistant for a graduate coaching practicum under Dr. Pierre Faller at Teachers College, Columbia University
Coached countless individual cadets, students, athletes, and leaders and has presented coaching material at Amazon fulfillment facilities.

education

In 2013 Brian graduated and was commissioned through USMA with a B.S. in Psychology. He returned there in 2021 after completing a MA in Social and Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, as a part of the 16th Cohort of the Eisenhower Leadership Development Program.
