Mark S. Taffet is the founder and CEO of Mast Advisors, Inc. He has over thirty years of experience as an investment banker, corporate strategist and senior operating executive. For the majority of his career, Mr. Taffet has provided corporate finance and strategic consulting services to large, often multi-national clients on a range of middle-market ($5 million to $500 million) assignments, including mergers, acquisitions, strategic investments, joint ventures, divestitures, corporate sales, private capital financing and strategic planning. He is a frequent speaker at CEO Forums on topics ranging from Value Maximization to Strategic Transactions.
Since founding Mast Advisors in 2002, he has brought the same skills and quality standards to meet the needs of middle-market companies. The Mast team is comprised of senior financial and operating executives whose experience is with leading industrial, financial services, consulting, private equity and venture capital organizations.
Mr. Taffet also the Chair a CEO Advisory Board for Vistage International, the largest CEO peer group organization in the world. His group is comprised of high performing, growth oriented business leaders focused on achieving superior outcomes for all stakeholders in their companies.
Mr. Taffet is a Board member of d2i, a software-as-service informatics and analytics company focused on emergency departments, hospitalists and urgent care centers. He is also on the Board of Advisors of Alene Candles, a leading contract manufacturer of high quality candles. He Chairs the Advisory Board of Times Review Media Group.
Mr. Taffet Has a law degree from Fordham University Law School and a BA from Sarah Lawrence College. He is a member of the NY State Bar.
