This career path has led her to become a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and professionals from all walks of life. More recently, she served as an Assistant Professor of Officership at the United States Military Academy at West Point. She provided coaching and mentorship to students, sports teams, Academic Departments, and military officers. She is skilled at listening deeply and providing practical and transformative guidance. She is known for her ability to ask thought-provoking questions, challenge limiting beliefs, and provide valuable tools and strategies to help her clients overcome obstacles and achieve their desired outcomes.


Tiarra is married to Alfred McDaniel III, sharing two daughters, Miracle and Milani, and their chihuahua Koko.

In 2013 Tiarra graduated and was commissioned through Alcorn State University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. Her journey later led her to USMA were she joined the 15th Cohort of the Eisenhower Leadership Development Program where she earned her M.A. in Social Organizational Psychology and Leadership from Columbia University.

Tiarra's Career Experience

Taught the senior capstone course, Officership, to members of the West Point class of 2021, focusing on moral leadership, trust, critical thinking, and organizational change. 

Served as the lead and assistant planner for 2xmajor ethics seminars across the USMA enterprise with thousands of participants.

Developed practical guides for leaders across organizations to help Create Psychological Safety within teams and Aligning Values with Behaviors.

Served as a coach and mentor to numerous students, athletes mid and senior leaders from all walks of life to include non-profit organizations.

 

Over 30 hours of continued diversity coaching specifically focused on helping leaders build an inclusive culture
